Reciprocal?
In the accounting world, Debits must always to Credits. But in the real world, equity is impossible.
In my working life, I am obsessed with ensuring that the balance sheets balances, the debits match up with the credit, and the accounts are closed out. For more than 15 years, my mind has been conditioned as such.
Unfortunately, my heart wants to seek equity and equality and I tend to see relationships as such. And many a times, disappointment stared coldly back at me. It’s not that I desperately need the attention or the TLC. I just want to have the sense that my time and effort are somewhat recognized.
I believe that I am the kind whereby if you treat me well, I’ll return 10-fold. I don’t think I am selfish in this aspect. I do RaRa for my friends, and supporting their decisions, unless I sense that the decisions is going to be detrimental.
And not that I need yes-people as friends. I just needed that little RaRa back. Obviously whatever decisions I have made, I made it with convictions and backed by researches and facts. I just needed that Yea man, go go go.
